JOB SUMMARY As a Chemical Production Operator, you play a critical part in the organization securing raw materials in a safe environment. This position creates and packages products of various kinds. The Chemical Production Operator blends and batches raw materials, samples batches, and records data. The Chemical Production Operator will transport, load, and unload raw materials and finished product. 06:00am - 02:30pm Monday - Friday RESPONSIBILITIES * Attends equipment or semiautomatic systems that process chemical raw materials into finished industrial products. * Operates and controls transfer equipment flow from one tank to another. * Operates electronic scale used for weighing or measuring raw materials to be added to batch. * Reads, interprets, and follows all batch sheet instructions and work instructions. * Selects and adds raw materials as required to manufacture product. * Controls and monitors process temperatures and process times. * Obtains batch samples and submits to the Quality Control team for testing. * Cleans out and purges process equipment. * Ensure items received are in good condition when they arrive. * Reports any abnormalities with incoming shipments before the off-loading process begins * Verifies the correct amounts are received and quarantined in the case of raw materials which will be sampled by QC * Reports all physical receipts in the ERP system documenting external lot numbers and quantities * Forwards copies of the Manufacturer's Certificate of Analysis and Material Safety Data Sheet to the QC Department * Stamp and file all incoming documentation by date * Will sort and distribute all non-inventoried items to the correct locations within the facility * Print in-house raw material labels and apply to containers * Physically and electronically store raw materials in the correct bin/storage locations * Receive customer returned items in accordance with the Return Authorization * Pull, stage, deliver raw materials to the correct Production Unit per the request of the Mix Master and perform the electronic move as well * Remove empty containers from the production units when required and deliver recyclables to the correct locations * Make contact with vendors for the delivery of Pallets as well as the pick up of recyclables * Perform unscheduled cycle counts of inventory to help ensure accuracy * Will participate in semi-annual physical inventories * Maintain adequate inventory of materials within the correct heating ovens * Perform a daily check and safely operate the equipment required to perform the Receiving and Warehousing functions * Maintain good housekeeping throughout the warehouse and receiving area. * Safely and efficiently operate the fill system * Select the correct containers required by the Pack from Batch Listing. * Properly install the Product Labels and any "Special Labeling" required as prescribed in the 'Work Instructions.' * Fill the selected containers to the prescribed weight specified on the 'Pack from Batch Listing.' * Provide quality control with the necessary batch samples for each product containerized. * Operate a sit-down forklift * Select products for outbound orders * Receive product (bulk and packaged) for inbound orders * Load and unload trucks * Perform preventative maintenance and participate in general upkeep of production equipment * Maintain daily logs and record plant operating data * Effectively, timely, and respectfully communicate anApply here: https://www.aplitrak.com/?adid=YmJnZW5lcmljLjA3MjQzLjEwNTA4QGR1Ym9pc2NoZW1pY2Fsc2NvbXAuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t
