This includes helping students reflect on their values, skills and interests, connect with experiential learning opportunities to gain hands-on experience, learn how to attend and finance graduate school, navigate full-time job searches, and explore alt-academic careers. Job Overview The Assistant Director provides both individual and group career coaching to students and recent alumni, helping them define their career goals and enhance their job search readiness and professional skills. Furthermore, the Assistant Director develops and delivers workshops and presentations on career and professional development topics, both independently and in collaboration with UC stakeholders. This position will have a special emphasis on supporting international students, both at the undergraduate and graduate level and across most majors, in finding part-time on-campus student employment and post-graduation opportunities. In 2023, nearly 5,000 international students from 133 countries were enrolled at the University of Cincinnati. CCPS participates in the University's alternative work program; hybrid work schedule is negotiable. Essential Functions Career Coaching (60%) Provide individual and group career coaching to help students and recent alumni define their career goals and improve their job search readiness and professional skills.
