Schedule: 4/10 M - TH; 4:00PM to 2:30AM

Job Description:

  • Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment.

  • Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents.

  • Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.

  • Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.

    Essential Functions:

  • Ability to read and understand description of manufacture (DM, DOM) for operation assembly instruction.

  • Ability to handle small parts with tweezers and/ or special tools

  • Operate various types of assembly equipment (assembly machines, press stakers, air screw drivers, etc.) with proper training.

  • Visually inspect components and subassemblies for obvious defects prior to, during, and after assembled.

  • Check completed assemblies for conformance with quality standards and DMs.

  • Maintain assembly/ quality records paperwork as required.

    Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with various types of precision measurement tools (micrometers, go/no-go gauges, etc) and blueprint reading required.

  • Experience in a manufacturing assembly environment.

  • Experience working on Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Lines.
