Details: An Aerospace Systems Engineer job working REMOTELY from anywhere in the U.S. is currently available at Belcan.* This position is supporting our Bellevue, WA location.* We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Systems Engineer to join our team in an early to mid-career position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and maintaining component specifications, along with expertise in avionics, instrumentation, and JAMA proficiency. Additionally, the candidate should possess a range of preferred skills including experience in requirements definition, decomposition, and management, as well as verification and validation (V&V) processes. * Aerospace Systems Engineer Job Duties: * Manage and maintain component specifications to ensure adherence to project requirements. * Utilize avionics and instrumentation experience to contribute to system design and development. * Demonstrate proficiency in JAMA for effective project management and collaboration. * Define, decompose, and manage system requirements throughout the project lifecycle. * Participate in verification and validation activities to ensure system performance and compliance. * Interpret engineering drawings and modelsto understand system design intent. * Contribute to technical planning and implementation strategies. * Implement Technical Measures Management (TPMs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track project progress. * Engage in technical decision-making processes through trade studies and analysis. * Apply knowledge of technical standards, such as DO-160 & DO-178, to ensure compliance with industry regulations. * Manage interfaces between system components and stakeholders to align expectations. * Define stakeholder expectations and incorporate them into project deliverables. * Contribute to concept and architecture definition for aerospace systems. * Develop and define design solutions based on project requirements. * Demonstrate intermediate proficiency in using and setting up Systems Engineering tools such as DOORs, JAMA, and Windchill. * Qualifications: * Bachelor"s degree in aerospace engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred. * 3+ years of experience in aerospace systems engineering. * Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required, US resident or Permanent resident (Green Card holder). * Experiencewith managing and maintaining component specifications. * Proficiency in avionics and instrumentation. * Experience with JAMA for project management. * Strong skills in requirements definition, decomposition, and management. * Knowledge of verification and validation processes. * Ability to interpret engineering drawings and models. * Familiarity with technical planning and TPMs/KPIs implementation. * Proficient in technical decision-making and trade studies. * Understanding of technical standards in the aerospace industry, such as DO-160 & DO-178. * Experience in interface management and stakeholder expectations definition. * Ability to contribute to concept and architecture definition. * Intermediate proficiency in using and setting up Systems Engineering tools such as DOORs, JAMA, and Windchill. We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $120,000 to $125,000.
