About the role
You will join the Simcenter Applications team, which is composed of Product Managers and Application Specialists who work in tandem. As a Simcenter Applications Product Manager , you will define and drive the strategy for Electronics & Semiconductors across Simulation and Test segment , while also collaborating with marketing, industry, and the sales organization.
Simcenter Applications Product Managers are responsible for understanding the most urgent and pervasive market problems to solve and working horizontally across teams to develop and deliver amazing capabilities focused on specific market needs. We help break out of organizational silos and coordinate to provide unique value to the market. Sounds exciting, right? We think so too.
The electronics and semiconductors industry is large, growing, and constantly changing. New pressures, needs, and market forces drive an extreme pace of engineering advancement. As such, tools and capabilities need to keep pace to address the most urgent and pervasive challenges to solve. These challenges range from analysis on the smallest levels of silica to massive data centers that require new cooling schemes to stay operational.
As part of Siemens, Simulation & Test Solutions segment is well positioned to leverage our world-class simulation and test capabilities alongside market leading Siemens Electronic Design Automation (EDA) capabilities to bring unique value to the market and provide significant business impact. As the Simcenter Applications Product Manager for Electronics & Semiconductors (E&S), you will ensure that our portfolio of products addresses the challenges of the market in a comprehensive and holistic manner, while collaborating closely with other Siemens business units.
• You work with customers and others in the industry to understand industry trends and challenges. You use market research to define priorities and construct a roadmap to address the most meaningful and impactful use cases in the application.
• Working across the solution domains, you create proposals and define specific requirements for new simulation capabilities. If you are someone that has a curiosity about clearly communicating with multiple levels within an organization at a variety of technical levels, this may be the position for you.
• Spreading the word is just as important as building cutting edge technology. You work with Specialists to create demonstration cases and compelling material to show the E&S industry what we are capable of. If showing clear business value is one of your skills, then we should talk.

Your qualifications
We are looking for someone who is an experienced product manager with a track record of delivering impactful solutions to the market. This requires comfort with market sizing, conducting customer interviews, and the ability to create and drive a strategy to maximize our business impact. At Simcenter Applications we drive core applications across all Simcenter teams, so strong coordination and leadership are essential. If this sounds like you, and you have an engineering degree with a comprehensive experience in the Electronics & Semiconductors industry, then we would love to hear from you.
• You are highly motivated and your confirmed experience with strategic business / product management or project planning and execution makes you able to take charge of large initiatives.
• You are defined as a self-starter that can lead in a globally distributed organization and across cultures.
• You demonstrate leadership skills combined with good communication skills in English, which give you the ability to connect with people at different levels of management and technical backgrounds. Strong interpersonal skills are an advantage for internal and external networking.
As the true bridge between teams, you facilitate alignment of deliverables and dependencies between teams to ensure efficient execution that is aligned with strategy. You can drive progress of complex projects with agility and flexibility.
