Job Overview:

A Repair Design Engineer with 3-6 years of experience is responsible for leading the design and development of complex mechanical systems and components. The role requires an individual who has a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and can apply this knowledge to real-world design problems. The engineer will lead cross-functional teams and be involved in all aspects of the design process from concept development to product launch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components to meet customer requirements.• Use CAD software to create detailed drawings and specifications.• Conduct feasibility studies, trade studies, and prototyping activities.• Analyze and evaluate designs for strength, durability, and performance.• Lead cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, quality control, and suppliers.• Support production, testing, and validation of prototypes and final products.• Continuously improve design processes and methodologies.• Stay current with industry standards and regulations.• Mentor and train junior engineers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.• 3-6 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and mechanical design.• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or ProE.• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.• Strong written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to lead cross-functional teams.• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.• Good organizational and time management skills.
