Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Engineer with 6-9 years of experience to lead our FEA efforts and drive innovation in our product design processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and conducting advanced simulations to support design decisions and drive product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the design and execution of complex FEA simulations on a variety of mechanical components and systems• Build, develop and implement advanced simulation models and algorithms to support product development and innovation• Analyze and interpret simulation results to make design recommendations and drive continuous improvement• Post-process results to determine if products meet customer requirements• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that simulations accurately reflect product behavior and meet project requirements• Mentor and guide FEA engineers and contribute to their professional development• Develop and implement FEA best practices and standards within the organization• Perform reviews of technical analysis and documentation of other engineers• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and emerging simulation technologies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field• 6-9 years of experience in conducting FEA simulations in an industrial or academic setting• Strong understanding of solid mechanics and finite element analysis• Advanced proficiency in using simulation software such as ANSYS, ABAQUS, or NASTRAN• Excellent ability to interpret and present simulation results effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities• Demonstrated leadership and technical project planning and estimation skills• A track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement in simulation processes and practices.
