Provides simple dressings under supervision of licensed nurses. 2. Responsible for the removal of Foley catheters as instructed. 3. Assist with performing EKG and removal of intravenous Fluid as instructed. 4. Responsible for performing vital signs including, blood pressure, height, weight, intake and output in a timely and accurate manner. 5. Responsible for preparing patients meals including tube feeding. Feeds and encourages patients as required. 6. Responsible for preparing patients for fetal monitoring. 7. Assists physicians with examinations, procedures and other processes related to direct patient care. 8. Performs other duties as directed. Knowledge of the policies, procedures, rules and regulations that apply to the practice of in an inpatient care setting. Knowledge of hospital/departmental policies and procedures, emergency protocols, Joint Commission, Center for Medicare and Medicaid services and all other local and federal regulatory standards Ability to make presentations before management, public groups, and staff.
