**Job Description: As a Mechanical Design Engineer II you will assist in design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and machine systems. This position requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Design parts, assemblies and detailed drawings for MELD machines.
  • Learn and contribute to the overall advancement of subassemblies like the loader, feeder, spindle and tools.
  • Create prototypes and conduct thorough testing to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of engineering designs.
  • Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to maintain the highest standards of product quality and reliability.
  • Conduct tests to verify the performance and functionality of MELD machines and sub-components.
  • Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) to new and updated parts.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation including assembly drawings and work instructions.

Qualifications:

2 to 5 years of related work experience

ISO Certified

Proficiency in SolidWorks and other relevant design tools
