PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Performs activities relating to analysis, evaluation, building, programming, testing, correcting, implementing, operating, or supporting existing and planned IT products and processes under the general direction of more experienced personnel. Support information technology?projects that may consist of cross-functional teams?and?multiple?IT?disciplines including contract resources. Work in collaboration with others which may include, network team, leadership, enterprise business partners, vendors, and project/design teams. Independence level: Works under general supervision in a supportive, flexible, and hybrid work environment.
Note: This is a hybrid position (in-office with remote flexibility). Employees are required to be in office at least three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Maintain or support existing IT products/processes and/or perform and document new work activities related to analysis, evaluation, building, testing, and/or implementing planned IT solutions.
Prepare standard reports to support IT operations.
Perform entry level responsibilities related to Change Management and Design Thinking or Customer Focus.
Organize own activities for short-term or sub-project/components under the direction of experienced personnel.
Facilitate open and honest communication with IT customers and stakeholders. Develop basic methods to assess communication effectiveness and implement continuous improvement activities.
Maintain engagement with IT partners and business.
Proactively acquire and apply business/IT knowledge.
Utilize best practices to improve IT products and services. Apply and verify compliance to standards as defined within the Management Model.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
0-2 years IT experience and bachelor's degree or in lieu of degree, 1-3 years of combination of education and relevant work experience
Appropriate computer skills, specifically, Microsoft Office suite with solid Excel capability
Ability to understand and communicate about customer issues
Strong problem-solving skills
Solid communications skills (written and verbal)
Demonstrate flexibility during times of change and ability to adjust to shifting priorities and timelines.
Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as in a remote and/or in-person team environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering from an ABET Accredited School
Networking experience and certifications such as Cisco CCNA
Experience and/or desire to work with and learn wireless technologies such as microwave, narrowband, mesh networks, land mobile radio, and 5G/LTE in an electric and gas utility environment
Familiarity with emerging software, such as Power BI

Annual salary will vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $59,200-$88,800
