AutoZone, Inc. Computer Operations Supervisor (Warehouse Management Systems) in Chowchilla, California

Summary Supervise computer-related operations within the distribution center to ensure efficiency. Troubleshoot and correct hardware and software problems in a facility with a wide variety of both handheld and desktop computers and peripheral devices. Requirements:

  • Superior leadership skills.

  • AutoZone management and leadership training.

  • Ability to multitask.

  • Ability to analyze information and direct a work force accordingly.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment.

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

  • PC literacy, including excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes software.

  • Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and/or maintain RF equipment, desktop PCs, and servers.

  • Ability to understand policies and procedures and to clearly relate them to others.

  • Ability to relocate is a plus.

    Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day computer-related operations for all shifts of a large distribution center, including start-of-day, end-of-day, and end-of-week functions.

  • Ensure that store billings are completed correctly.

  • Ensure the timely processing of will call orders

  • Maintain supplies of labels for order selectors. ·

  • Maintain system and data security by administering access levels for all AutoZoners in the facility.

  • Monitor damages to computer equipment and find ways to reduce the money spent on replacements
