Your day as an IT Section Manager

This position is responsible for ensuring that all employees have the technology they need to get their job done, from a reliable laptop and VPN access for remote workers who can't be reached otherwise, to up-close coordination with other departments and making sure that data is secure.

■ Manage the IT budget; monitor costs of existing maintenance contracts and provide costing for anticipated future requirements.

■ Be responsible for Windows Server/Workstation Administration, Installation and Configuration.

■ Interact with user departments to determine their needs and develop management information systems to address these needs.

■ Educate users in the effective use of computerized applications.

■ Monitor daily performance of IT systems including computers, programs and networks

■ Ensure smooth operation of IT systems and accurate result to ensure satisfaction with business requirements.

■ Evaluate available software packages for both the client-server and personal computer. Determine the merits of packages, custom-programming and in-house programming and recommend the most favorable choices and alternatives.

■ Take care and secure departmental equipment and facilities. Evaluate IT equipment including backup and determine viability for the IT section and the company. Procure and maintain an adequate inventory of supplies.

■ Set up and implement policies & procedures in the IT Section.

What do we ask from you?

Required Qualifications

■ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology

■ Minimum 10 years experience in IT/MIS functions with more than 3 years in management level

■ Good in English, able to communicate effectively both written and spoken.

■ Proficient in MS tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and SAP

■ Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills

■ Systematic thinking, good analytics, self-motivation and high responsibility.

■ Understanding existing and emerging technologies

■ Network and Computer Systems Administrators Skills

Preferable qualifications

■ Overseas working experience and/or working experience in a Western company is preferable.

■ Gained TOEIC score above 550 or a similar English proficiency test result is preferable.

■ Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization

■ Have a growth mindset and strive for continuous improvement
