Aerotek Field Service Technician in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin

Description:

The service technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and service of automotive, electronic, hydraulic and/or mechanical petroleum equipment and products as applicable. Type of service repair work includes pumps, tanks, monitors, gauges and meter read outs. Anything involving petroleum industry products

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoots, performs repairs and preventative maintenance of fueling systems.

Monitors and is accountable for accuracy of parts inventory on service van including, but not limited to, transfers of parts to appropriate jobs and other service techs as applicable as well as returns to warehouse facilities.

Analyzes electronic and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required.

Installs, programs and tests new equipment.

Communicate with customers and explain technical and non-technical issues.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Class A CDL, or ability to get one

2+ years of previous experience working in the mechanical or electrical industry

6+ months of operate mechanical equipment and machines or farm labor or mechanic experience

High School diploma or GED

Clean driving record

Nice to haves:

Preferred experience in service station/fueling equipment repair
