ITW Deltar Fasteners is a large division within the Automotive Segment and serves all the major OEMs and their tier suppliers with plastic fasteners. Locations include: Frankfort, IL; Chippewa Falls, WI and our Commercial Sales and Engineering in Troy, MI.

Position Summary:
Business Unit Coordinator Supervisor – Deltar Fasteners reports to the Customer Relations Manager/Supply Chain Manager/Sales Manager – Deltar Fasteners. This position is responsible to oversee all activities as they relate to departmental objectives including project delivery performance, customer relations and related administrative practices.
Primary Responsibilities:
Supervise and provide leadership to a team of employees.
Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, and processing and approving payroll.
Maintain a positive working environment while encouraging team performance.
Planning and directing work assignments of direct reports.
Providing employees with productive communication regarding performance and solution-based communication for necessary improvement requirements.
Establish or update work instructions and procedures as necessary, including employee training.
Manage multiple projects and tasks associated to new business.
Coordinate the ordering and sampling of new materials and colors as required for new tools.
Coordinate shipments of special orders for prototype or pre-production vehicle builds.
Coordinate procurement, PPAP, and inspection of new purchased components for projects.
Generate part quotations for new and existing product.
Review and approve part drawings.
Coordinate the implementation of new production tools into their selected manufacturing location including the completion of blue packets.
Work with a designated core team at design review meetings for new part designs.
Implement Control Plans, Process Failure Mode and Effects, and Flow Diagram forms for PPAP submissions as required.
Knowledge of internal quality management systems required for third party audit reviews.
Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Position Skills and Experience Requirements:

Minimum 2-year associate degree in related filed or equivalent experience.
Approximately two-five years of related sales/customer relations and/or manufacturing experience is required.
Exceptional communication skills (written, oral and interpersonal).
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize work with minimal direction.
Ability to problem solve, along with excellent negotiation skills.
Proven accuracy in work.
