Responsibilities

  • Cleans and positions manned aircraft. Performs duties such as facility and equipment inspections, clean hangar, ground equipment and vehicles; standard fueling and hot refueling of aircraft.

  • Reposition fuel vehicles and aircraft. Assists with installing and removing aircraft accessories and attachments for cargo handling, transportation of equipment and external loads.

  • Assists in the installation of accessories and attachments for camera and remote sensing equipment.

  • Purchase, receive and inspect inventory supplies. Handles shipping and receiving.

  • Maintain inventory records.

  • Complete mail and parts deliveries.

  • Trains and assists employees as needed.

The essentials

  • Experience in working around aircraft, operating equipment, towing procedures and equipment and/or support vehicles.

  • Familiarity with computer systems and software such as MS Word and Excel.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class A driver license with Hazmat, Air Brakes and Tank endorsements within six months of employment. Awarding of this position is contingent upon the employee’s successful completion of documentation and/or actions necessary for compliance with regulation requirements under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, Department of Transportation, and California Highway Patrol.

  • Ability to operate hangar equipment such as forklift, overhead hoist, and ground handling equipment.

The preferred

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Strong decision-making skills.

  • Work successfully in a team environment.

  • Professional communication skills.

You should know

  • This position’s work mode is on-site . The employee will report to an SCE facility or in the field location. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

  • The primary location for this position is Chino; however, the successful candidate may also be asked to work for an extended amount of time at an alternate work location.

  • Position may require up to 60% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.
