Naval Air Systems Command SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in China Lake, California
Summary You will serve as a Branch Head, within the Program & Business Analysis Department Division of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. Responsibilities You will provide leadership and supervision to BFMs within the branch. You will provide guidance and information to teammates on policy, financial systems, and tools. You will be responsible for evaluating the performance of STRL and DPMAP employees. You will develop and defend workload estimates based on the assigned customer's financial requirements; and utilize Navy-Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) financial system. You will be responsible for data calls for both internal customers and external customers. You will create budgets, analyze, interpret, evaluate program-funding plans, monitor execution, and identifying actual or potential funding issues, make decisions, and provide sound financial technical advice as required. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next (lower pay band NM-03 or equivalent grade level GS 09-12) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1. Expert knowledge of Navy ERP ( financial databases), Business Objects, and the financial formulation and execution processes. 2. Proficient in extracting information from ERP (financial databases) and providing data analysis using Excel formats. 3. Mentoring and supervising employees including directing and prioritizing work assignments. 4. Developing, and managing the execution of budgets, 5. Subject matter expert of DoD or other Financial Management policies and regulations. 6. Interpreting customer requirements and providing written and oral communication across all levels of leadership.
