Copeland Master Planner Scheduler in Chihuahua, Mexico

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads the Planner group, Supervise, coordinate activities, Workload definition for the team.

  • Elaboration of production program, demand analysis, sales projection, capacity review as the owner of all process (S&OP- Sales & Operation Process)

  • Maintain close communication with internal and external customers to ensure the correct execution of the production plans elaborated.

  • Ensure that production schedules are aligned with on-time deliveries, on the dates required to support the plant's delivery metric. (RDSL)

  • Ensure the timely and accurate Load of production orders (Work Orders) in the Industrios (MRP) based on production schedule and the proper Forecast load visibility.

  • Lead the release of Jobs to the areas (Warehouse, production, Eng., etc.) and the production control of the orders released in the production program.

  • Review component coverage with buyers (Clear to build) for production plan preparation and rescheduling.

  • Maintain the inventory levels established for the Finished Product and WIP

  • Coordination with Warehouse for Kitting required for the Production program.

  • Active participation on internal and external meetings presenting information related Planning activity as required.

  • Active participation in the Annual physical inventories of the plant, leader and responsible for the WIP and FG process.

  • Lead the coordination of shipments to customers, moving the required areas production, warehouse, and warehouse in El Paso.

  • Comply with the safety standards established by the company.

  • Comply with training plans, certifications required within the company.

  • Establish effective procedures and Process improvements.

  • Work in the coordination for implementations of new products, transfers and engineering changes with the corresponding departments ensuring successful launches and avoiding generation of obsolescence or impacts on the business.

Authority:

Workload and coordinate the activities for the planners.

Evaluation and performance review of the planners

Lead the S&OP Process

Make and publish the production plan & sales projection.

Negotiation and coordination with Customers the Shipment dates and shipping plan

Request from customers the Forecast and demand projections

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and / or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing and materials environment. Preferably in electronics industry

  • Analytical approach to problem solving.

  • Working knowledge of ERP-MRP functionality (Industrios, SAP, Oracle, JDE, other),

  • Bilingual English-Spanish.

  • Effective communication skills.

  • Strong Leadership skills and teamwork

  • Excellent Computer Skills (excel, word and Power Point)

Preferred Qualifications:

APICS Certification preferred.
