Office Manager Position Title: Office Manager Department: Council on Aging Employment Status: UCFW Administrative Union; Non-Exempt; Full-Time Salary: Grade A04, Step 01, Starting pay is \$19.81 per hour Licenses/Certifications: N/A SUMMARY The City of Chicopee\'s Council on Aging Department is hiring an Office Manager to provide administrative support to the Executive Director for the efficient operation of the Council on Aging. ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE Responsible for all payables and receivables for the Council on Aging, including the bills payable, purchase orders, in the City\'s financial management system. Processes department payroll and maintains the time off accruals. Maintains and orders all senior center office and cafe supplies. Prepares all fiscal reports for the Council on Aging meetings. Oversees the training and schedules for all volunteer receptionists, including hours and length of service. Maintains all register reports including balancing case and preparing deposits for the cafe, transportation funds and special events. Provides back-up to the Cafe when necessary. Answer telephones and provides information and referrals as necessary. Performs all other duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS To be minimally qualified for this position, one must meet the following criteria: High School diploma or equivalent with one to two years of office experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience. COMPENSATION, SCHEDULE, & BENEFITS The City of Chicopee provides its employees (contingent upon employment status) with a robust benefits package which includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Sick-Time, Life Insurance, 12+ Paid Holidays, Personal Time, Vacation Time, Retirement Saving Plans (457b), a Pension Plan, Employee Discounts, and more. This role is classified as Grade A04, Step 01 starting pay is \$19.81 per hour with periodic step and pay increases upon continuous completion of employment with the City of Chicopee (dependent on the starting step).
