About the Role:

This position is a member of the Facility Operations team for Ferguson’s ChicoHub Complex. The incumbent will be expected to conduct regular assigned tasks, respond to associates’ support and assistance requests and provide assistance to the other members of their team. This position will be expected to participate in projects with other members of the Facility Operations team. This position will work closely with logistics vendors, Internal Sales & Operations teams, and occasionally with outside departments including IT & HR. Success will be measured through results and feedback from other associates.

What You’ll Do:

• Reconcile all received shipments with internal company databases and route for proper disposition.

• Coordination with eBusiness Operations (Logistics, Returns, etc.) & the Sales Center for assisting in locating, rerouting and reshipping missing customer orders.

• Receive customer returns, inspect for damage, log information, repackage, palletize, and reship.

• Accept daily mail, shipments, and deliveries at the warehouse.

• Responsible for all shipping and receiving, including verifying items against the records of shipment, and verifying shipment condition.

• Maintain a daily warehouse log with tracking & Purchase Order information for all returns. o Maintain organization and documentation for all materials stored in, or transiting, the warehouse.

• Pull, package, and stage items for loading and shipping.

• Responsible for transferring shipments between local facilities twice per day.

• Reship orders that have shaped to this location in error.

• Assist the Media Studio with storage and delivery of items when requested.

• Execute a regular cleaning & maintenance schedule.

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.

• Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.

• Assist in basic facility maintenance tasks like moving furniture, painting, etc. o Perform Daily and Weekly safety reviews and checklists. o Participate as a member of the facilities team of a team for larger projects.

Perform other routine clerical activities according to the organization's established procedures, which may include updating inventory records, completing receipts, transfers, and delivery forms, auditing documentation, etc. o Assist with administrative or clerical tasks in support of building operations. Performs all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.

• Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management.

What You’ll Need:

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.

• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

• Ability to organize and prioritize work.

• Requires Problem-Solving skills, Attention to Detail, and Self-Motivation.

• Ability to effectively utilize Build.com’s Legacy inventory and logistics system (OMC).

• Ability to effectively utilize FEI's inventory and logistics system (Trilogie).

• Ability to effectively utilize standard hand tools (hammer, pliers, screwdriver, etc.).

• Ability to effectively operate motorized and/or manual lifting devices.

• Ability to obtain Certification in applicable motorized equipment required (i.e. Forklift, Reach Truck, Pallet Jack, Picker, etc.). Physical Requirements

Pay Disclaimer: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Warehouse Technician position is $21.50 per hour and the maximum salary for the Warehouse Technician position is $27.40 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
