The Trade Support Associate will be responsible for numerous functions including trade support, preparation of various reports, partnering across various stakeholder groups to assist in strategic programs. Product support includes Equities, Options, Mutual Funds, Fixed Income, Margin Trading, and Trade Corrections. In this role, the candidate will develop an in-depth understanding of trade correction flows for the US Private Bank, Chase Wealth Management, JPM Self-Directed Investing and J.P. Morgan Securities. The role of Trade Support Associate requires a willingness to take on a challenging and complex suite of products and an ability to learn quickly in a high volume and constantly changing environment. Strong communication skills are a necessity due to heavy interaction with front office, portfolio managers, and product desk personnel and to keep management apprised of key developments or ideas to improve upon existing processes .
Provide analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyze complex business processes, identifying risks and defining possible solutions
Look for opportunities to automate manual processes using tools like Alteryx, Xceptor, and Tableau
Operational support for trade correction in Managed Accounts, Brokerage Accounts, Self-Directed Accounts, and all associated asset classes: Equity, Mutual Fund, and Fixed Income
Develop relationships across all levels of the firm and work on project teams and multiple work streams in a changing environment
Ensure written processes and procedures are adhered to achieve desired business results
Work on various projects related to Middle Office, Trade Corrections, and Operations
Coordinate with various areas of Operations, Middle Office, Finance, IT, Risk, Compliance, and Senior Management on trade corrections, business requirements, procedures and processes
Process review and optimization
Champion Alteryx/ Xceptor/Tableau work flows along with Change Mobilization to automate and optimize workflows and processes
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Bachelor's degree for higher
Advanced Excel skills. Alteryx/Actimize/Xceptor a plus
Strong background relating to securities markets, their products, and asset classes
Self-starter, extremely organized with strong commitment to accuracy and detail
Advanced knowledge of securities industry with high aptitude for learning
Process driven, and at ease with responding to high pressure deadlines
Good judgment and problem solving skills
Ability to multi-task, manage priorities effectively, work independently
Must be self-motivated and task-driven - extremely fast paced environment
Series 7 and 63 Licenses a plus
