Responsibilities\ PepsiCo Beverages is seeking an Associate Principal Engineer to design and manage projects in the warehouse space. This role is responsible for solving complex innovation needs through proactive sourcing, development and implementation of material handling solutions that address business requirements. The Warehouse Automation Development team scopes and designs new capital projects dedicated to automation, capacity, growth, and productivity.

Responsibilities:\ * Analyze site requirements and leverage design models to properly size building and material handling equipment to support development of layouts\ * Support vendor education and selection activities to ensure competitive bidding\ * Collect, analyze and apply operational data in conjunction with site requirements to develop a solution that meets and exceeds project requirements\ * Develop and support maintenance of project milestone schedule by monitoring for dependencies and identifying gaps\ * Builds and leverages external connections to technology, vendors and equipment suppliers to identify new innovations and optimize current technologies\ * Understand and apply modeling and simulation results to validate and optimize material handling solutions.\ * Support pilot technology activities to validate results and expectations.\ * Project Management of automation solution to include managing schedule, budget, installation and startup\ * Develop communication tools to align organization on complex decisions\ * Partners with other functions such as Warehouse Automation Deployment Team, IT, Network Modeling, and Field to ensure that the Warehouse solutions deliver the desired metrics.\ * Ensures project design and planning follows best practices and meets Warehouse design standards.\ * Develops innovative and cost competitive solutions to complex problems through individual and cross functional partners.

Compensation and Benefits:\ * The expected compensation range for this position is between \$85,200 \$142,650 based on a full-time schedule.\ * Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.\ * Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.\ * Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.\ * In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.
