Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Traveling Precision Mechanic Millwrights for projects located in and around Sheboygan Falls, WI. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $35/hour based on experience & skill level plus $100/per diem for travelers of 60+ miles from the job site. If you are a Millwright and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

  • Assemble basic parts or unit & attach unit to assembly, subassembly, or frame using hand tools & power tools

  • Inspect, test, & adjust completed unit to ensure that unit meets specifications, tolerances, & customer order requirements

  • Connect electrical wiring according to basic circuit diagram

  • Measure parts to determine tolerances using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers & calipers

  • Read blueprints & specifications to determine component parts and assembly sequence of electromechanical unit

  • Read hydraulic, pneumatic, & electrical schematics & diagrams

  • File, lap, & buff parts to fit using hand tools & power tools

  • Attach name plates & marks identifying information on parts

  • Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years of Precision Millwright Experience

  • Must pass Drug Screen

  • Hand Tools
