Sargent & Lundy Software Librarian Intern (Summer 2024) in Chicago, Illinois

Description

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an Intern to join our Software Management team. The Software Intern will help support S&L Software Management processes and systems as a self-motivated and organized employee in a fast-paced environment.

Sargent & Lundy is a global leader in power and energy consulting, where innovation meets integrity, diversity, and a commitment to quality. Your responsibilities will encompass, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Update and maintain software contracts, licenses, product information.

  • Organize electronic and physical assets.

  • Assist Quality Assurance team in reporting for Audits and Validation & Verification of Software.

  • Change management process for Software.

  • Assigning Software to users as requested.

  • Internal audits of users and software.

  • Able to work overtime as needed.

    This position allows for a hybrid work schedule with the expectation of 3 days in our downtown Chicago office and 2 days working remotely from home .

Qualifications

This position requires:

  • Relevant coursework and work experience

  • Basic software troubleshooting skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and familiarity with .csv bulk loading.

  • Familiarity with quality assurance programs.

  • Close attention to detail.
