Key job responsibilities

This role help identify and drive program improvements in both a strategic and tactical role to define and deliver our program improvements to solve the operational and financial opportunities of the 2.3B package box truck network in North America. We are looking for a customer-obsessed, entrepreneurial program leader with a strong delivery record to join the ABTN Over-the-Road (OTR) team to identify and drive initiatives focused on cost, delivery quality, and speed improvements.

You’ll work in a fast paced environment and will be required to lead not only at the strategic level, but also tactically day-to-day by diving deeply into business domains. The individual in this role is expected to have excellent project management skills, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
