Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Description:

  • Partner with Fortune 500 clients in order to build enterprise grade web applications.
  • Apply development skills to support reliability and maintenance of applications according to best practices which meets the client needs.
  • Write maintainable, efficient, reusable, reliable code based on industry standards and develop Test Case Plans to perform code coverage, unit, integration and functional testing.
  • Build pipelines to automate the building, testing and deployment of applications.
  • Apply knowledge and experience to ensure the application meets the performance, scalability, security, and testing requirements of the client.
  • Write technical documentation of applications to ensure knowledge sharing and mentor Junior developers, train them with best practices.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Information Systems.
  • Five (5) years of experience developing applications, specifically Java/Spring applications.
  • Four (4) years of work experience in building containers using Docker/CRI-O, managing container orchestration systems (Kubernetes) and hands-on experience with Platform-as-a-Service offerings of Kubernetes (OpenShift, Azure Kubernetes Service, or Google Kubernetes Engine).
  • Three (3) years of experience with configuration tools.
  • Three (3) years of experience in Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Three (3) years of experience with implementing best practices of site reliability and DevOps using tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Kibana, or Grafana).
  • Three (3) years of experience in designing and writing CI/CD pipelines, utilizing Mockito/Junit to automate testing.
  • Three (3) years of experience in troubleshooting production or development issues using debugging tools, fix defects, improve application system performance, and respond to client specific issues.

Salary: \$144,560 - \$175,800 per year
