Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Senior Accountant to join our Accounts Receivable Team. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the broader Corporate Accounting team, where you’ll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. The Role

Hyatt Hotels seeks a self-motivated senior accountant to join the Accounts Receivable team. Responsibilities include preparing, reviewing customer billings, and interfacing the billing files into Oracle ERP. Additional duties include researching and responding diligently to customer inquiries and requests, preparing ad-hoc requests for BU partners, and preparing and reviewing AR aging schedules and quarterly AR reserve files. Responsibilities include general oversight of assigned processes within the Hyatt monthly and quarterly close processes such as reviewing cash balancing files and ensuring proper tie-outs. Other tasks include review of journal entries and monthly and quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the enhancement of internal controls and participating in special projects that incorporate a wide range of accounting exposure. Lastly, this role also consists of continued automation using Alteryx.

•Compile billing data for various billing files including the Corp Bill, and prepare into interface-ready files and interface in Oracle

•Review and investigate variances in account reconciliation

•Prepare monthly journal entries for monthly classes or miscellaneous entries

•Review other team member billing files

•Assist in new customer setups

•Approve tickets in service now

•Assist in audit requests

•Assist in various business unit requests such as write-offs or balance inquiry questions

•Opportunities to participate in Hyatt’s Diversity & Inclusion activities

Qualifications:

Experience Required:

•2-4 years of experience in the same field, industry, or other equivalent business/ function role

•Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other business degree

•Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office

Experience Preferred:

•Certified Public Accountant

•Financial ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
