Commercial Banking delivers extensive industry knowledge, local expertise and seamless global capabilities to clients-including corporations, municipalities, financial institutions, real estate investors and owners, and not-for-profit organizations. We offer a comprehensive set of financial products and services including credit, asset-based lending, real estate finance and treasury. We also provide clients with access to investment banking and asset management services.

We're looking for a passionate communicator to provide internal and executive communications support for CB's functional support groups (e.g., Risk, Finance, Legal, Marketing & Communications, HR/DEI). This role requires a self-starter who can plan and execute projects strategically, efficiently and innovatively. Being an excellent writer, creative thinker, hard worker, visual storyteller and a can-do attitude are also necessary attributes for this role.

Responsibilities :

  • Support CB's functional support (e.g., Compliance, Finance, Legal, Marketing & Communications, HR) executives with communications needs, including messages, presentations and town halls.

  • Manage and maintain key internal communications assets and channels such as the Intranet, newsletters, organizational announcements and events

  • Plan and execute town halls, which includes developing the content, coordinating with speakers and managing technical logistics

  • Manage internal editorial calendar to ensure a strong pipeline of relevant and timely content

  • Write, edit and maintain quality control of internal communications content, including articles, videos, etc.

  • Support senior leadership with preparing internal presentation materials and messages

  • Generate ideas and identify key moments in time for creative storytelling opportunities to drive employee engagement

  • Partner with colleagues across the firm to ensure strategic alignment and leverage the firm's full resources

  • Identify opportunities to modernize internal communications, make process improvements and drive efficiencies

  • Identify and track key performance metrics to report on results

Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in communications

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Experience in strategic internal communications in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong writing skills and ability to simplify complex subjects

  • Collaborative team player who is self-motivated, resourceful and demonstrates a problem-solving approach

  • Good judgement and ability to deal with sensitive/confidential matters

  • Proficiency in Microsoft (including Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and HTML preferred, as well as knowledge of basic SharePoint and Intranet technology

  • Graphic design and video editing experience is a plus
