Description

Ardmore Roderick is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead Phase I and Phase II transportation projects.  Design tasks may include geometric modifications, drainage improvements, traffic signals, roadway lighting, maintenance of traffic, and/or construction staging from simple roads to complex highways. Additional duties include:

  • Oversee Junior Engineers

  • Provide input on RFP’s and potential pursuits

  • Prepare plans, specifications and contract documents

  • Prepare appropriate project reports

  • Lead project meetings both internally and with clients

  • Other duties as necessary

Requirements

  • BSCE degree in Civil Engineering

  • 6+ years of experience in roadway/highway design

  • Professional Engineer (PE) License required

  • Familiarity with IDOT, Tollway and Local Agencies

  • Geopak/Open Roads 3D Modeling a plus

  • Proficiency with programs such as HCS 2010, Synchro, GuideSign, AutoTurn, Geopak Drainage, SUDA, HEC-RAS, HY-8, Hydraulic Toolbox and TR-20, AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS platforms

  • Excellent written and verbal skills
