Lodge Management Group Sales, Events, & Marketing Coordinator in Chicago, Illinois

The Sales, Events, & Marketing Coordinator will participate as a member of the Sales, Events, & Marketing Department. This position must utilize skills including team-based interaction, project management, community outreach, and administrative support. The Sales, Events, & Marketing Coordinator is the onsite contact at parties and events, assists in the planning and overall execution of events, parties, and meetings for Lodge Management Group. The Sales, Events, & Marketing Coordinator executes the company’s marketing strategies. This is a demanding and diverse role that includes a mix of marketing, social, promotions and onsite events support. If you are bright, creative, and love working within the thriving hospitality industry this will be a great fit. This position requires flexibility and availability to work nights and weekends.

To be considered for this role, you should be legally authorized to work in a bar where alcoholic beverages are served and consumed. You should also be available to work in shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays (Blackout Dates for no time off requests may include, but are not limited to: St. Patrick's Day weekend, Memorial Day Weekend, Labor Day Weekend, New Years Eve)

Requirements

  • Assisting with all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing market strategy and brand initiatives.

  • Developing creative and impactful content through social including Instagram Reels and TikToks

  • Assist in implementing the content strategy, ensuring Lodge Management Group’s vision is cohesive in venue, digitally, and publicly.

  • Stay on top of business and market development, market research

  • Initiating, coordinating, and participating in local clubs and events

  • Demonstrating to clients strong knowledge of venues and vendor offerings and taking clients on tours of venue possibilities

  • Coordinating event order information with venue staff

  • Managing and overseeing events on the day of, including problem-solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, communicating with staff, and organizing vendors

  • Keeping a detailed inventory of wristbands, drink tickets, party materials, and signage

  • Coordinate Team Sponsorships

  • Provide support and assistance in planning, developing, producing, and delivering marketing and communications materials

  • Develop and oversee the communications calendar to ensure timely execution of marketing communications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or relevant field

  • 3-5 years demonstrated social media or marketing communications experience, including writing, editing and publishing content for specific audiences

  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation and social publishing tools, like HubSpot, Pardot, Hootsuite or Sprout Social, etc.

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as, the ability to adopt our venues’ style, tone and voice for various types of content

  • Ability to gather, analyze and interpret social media and email campaign data
