The University of Chicago Booth School of Business invites applications for a non-tenure track Research Assistant Professor position in Microeconomics. The position will be a three-year, non-renewable appointment.

The Research Assistant Professor is primarily an independent researcher conducting original research within microeconomics or related fields and is expected to stand alone on their scholarly accomplishments, solo- and co-authoring reputable scientific publications. Appointees are expected to interact with Booth faculty and students and participate in academic conferences and workshops. The Research Assistant Professor may be asked to teach (or may ask to teach) but that is neither required nor guaranteed.

Qualifications

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related field. They must have demonstrated ability to communicate research findings clearly to audiences through oral presentations and written work.
