Job Description

This attorney will work on a broad range of private equity sponsored financing transactions, including traditional leveraged financings, term loan and revolver facilities, cash flow and asset based loan facilities, mezzanine credit facilities as well as a variety of financings for portfolio companies of our private equity clients. This attorney will be expected to manage closing processes, review and draft loan documents, including commitment letters, term sheets, loan agreements and collateral documents. Prior experience with borrower-side representation preferred, but lender-side representation (especially with private credit lenders) is also desired. Private equity borrower-side representation a plus . This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of matters for a variety of clients with a Chambers-rated and growing practice across industries.

This is a non-partnership track position.

  • 1 years of private equity sponsored leveraged acquisition finance transactions experience

  • Admitted to practice in the state where hired

  • Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC experience

Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Pay Transparency

In accordance with New York's Pay Transparency Law, the pay range for this position, if hired to work in New York, is $135,000 to $300,000 per year. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience and overall qualifications.
