Stellar Innovations Network Infrastructure Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Chicago, Illinois

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform hands-on implementation of Cisco firewalls (FPR 4112, FMC, ASA 5555) and related hardware and software. This includes installation, configuration (ACLs, NAT’ing, Site-to-site and remote Virtual Private Networks - VPNs), maintenance, troubleshooting, IOS upgrades and AnyConnect configuration.

  • Perform hands-on implementation of network infrastructure including: core switches (Cisco Nexus 7k),edge switches (Catalyst 9300-U/UXM, 3850, 3650), routers (ASR 1006, ASR 1001, 8300), bandwidth management appliances, and related hardware and software. This includes installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting and IOS upgrades.

  • Design, configure and troubleshoot the routing protocols, including but not limited to, Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS), Internet Protocol Security (IPSec) etc.

  • Design and perform hands-on implementation of a secured enterprise wireless systems with Cisco  Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) including WLC 5520/9800 and security standards including Extensible Authentication Protocol – Transport Layer Security (EAP-TLS)/Protected Extensible Authentication Protocol (PEAP). This includes installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting and IOS upgrades.

  • Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE). This includes configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Cisco Ise’s TACACS, RADIUS, RULES, Policy Sets, Posture, Authentication/Authorization for Wired/Wireless networks etc.

  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Express Routes connections to Microsoft AZURE Cloud.

  • Network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds and Cisco DNA center.

  • 5 years of experience with Cisco VoIP infrastructure, operations and IVR technologies.

  • 3 years of experience with Managed Trusted Internet Protocol Service (MTIPS) and Public IP infrastructure. This includes configuration and troubleshooting circuits with public IPs.

  • 2 years of general Windows Server Operating System experience with hands-on experience working and understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS and DHCP. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience:  10 years of IT experience providing Tier 3 support level, as well as working in a Tier 3 Cisco network support environment for firewall implementation, network infrastructure (design, implementation, and support)

Education: Associate degree or higher (Desired)

Clearance: Must possess a minimum Public Trust level security clearance 

Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

Certifications: 

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE).   (Required).
