Will also perform various building maintenance and repairs.

Key Accountabilities

  • Must be able to use all required hand and power tools.
  • Maintain all Boiler/Coolant/Chiller feed water systems including adding salt to water softeners.
  • Perform Boiler sediment flush/blow down periodically.
  • Proficient in Welding, Brazing and Metal Fabrication.
  • Proficient in All Metal and PVC Plumbing up to 100 psi.
  • Perform general building maintenance tasks as required.
  • Must keep work area clean, neat, and orderly per 5s program.
  • Must understand and follow work instructions and procedures related to this job function.
  • Must perform Daily / Weekly / Monthly / Yearly checks and maintain records as required.
  • Must repair and maintain equipment such as Mechanical pumps, diaphragm pumps, mechanical seals, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, gearbox, steam boilers, etc.
  • Must repair and maintain and install equipment such as Mechanical pumps, diaphragm pumps, gearbox, various manufacturing equipment, etc.
  • Must assemble production equipment such as Pin Chain, varnish applicator rolls, conveyors belts etc.
  • Experience with monitoring using data analysis, pump vibration analysis, compressor systems, lube oil analysis, etc. is preferred.
  • Experience with new equipment installation is preferred.
  • The candidate must be willing to operate scissor lifts, boom lifts and forklifts as required.
  • The candidate must be willing to perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on Fire Sprinkler system, Compressors, Vacuum Pumps, Air Dryers, Boilers, Pumps, Fans, HVAC equipment, Thermo oxidizer, Conveyors, Gearboxes, Fans etc.
  • Must do other tasks as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Must have a high school diploma.
  • Five years of experience as Millwright servicing manufacturing equipment preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisor and other members of management
  • Candidate will be required to take a test to prove his or her abilities.

  • Able to work outside, sometimes in inclement weather.
  • May be required to work irregular shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

  • Exposure to heat, cold, vibrations, odors, fumes and loud noise.
