The Master Electrician\'s responsibilities include using a number of tools to install and service electrical systems, observing company safety guidelines, documenting each project and updating client records, providing material cost and time estimates, and training apprentices. You should also be able to easily diagnose electrical faults and provide excellent customer service.

Duties/Responsibilities:\ Installing new or used electrical systems.\ This is a hands-on, working position.\ Repairing electrical issues by replacing or installing components, wiring or devices.\ Sourcing or fabricating replacement electrical components.\ Servicing electrical systems, IAW maintenance manual or pamphlets.\ Drawing up preventative maintenance measures and explaining these to clients and other electricians.\ Interpreting blueprints and drawing rough sketches when required.\ Guiding and overseeing apprentices and journeyman electricians.\ Obtaining required permits, equipment, tools, and materials for projects.\ Testing and troubleshooting electrical systems using tools that include voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters to determine where issues may be occurring, the safety of the system and to ensure compatibility.\ Updating project records and preparing relevant documents and reports for clients.\ Liaising with clients, vendors, and other electricians.\ Document actions, testing results, observations, final diagnosis of the situation and steps taken to resolve issues for each job or situation.\ Maintain equipment to ensure it is in good condition and can operate or be used safely.\ Assist in the development, testing, and installation of EV Charging equipment.\ Provide assistance during emergencies.\ Must be willing to travel for extended periods of time.
