ManpowerGroup Manager of Consolidations and Accounting in Chicago, Illinois

Jefferson Wells is partnering with a rapidly growing manufacturing company committed to excellence and innovation in their industry. They are seeking a skilled and experienced Manager of Consolidations and Corporate Accounting to join their dynamic finance team.

Compensation: Salary range is $150,000 to $175,000 base with some room for negotiation, plus bonus potential based on performance.

Position Overview: The Manager of Consolidations and Corporate Accounting will play a critical role in leading and managing the global financial consolidation process using OneStream. This individual will also serve as the primary point of contact for the company's OneStream managed services, providing support to the Corporate Controller and CFO in various strategic financial areas. Additionally, the Manager will collaborate with the Director of Finance Business Systems to explore and implement OneStream utilization opportunities for accounting purposes.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Lead and manage the global financial consolidation process in OneStream, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.

  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for the company's OneStream managed services, supporting the Corporate Controller and CFO in policy and internal controls, budgeting, acquisition integration, financial modeling, and other assigned activities.

  3. Collaborate with the Director of Finance Business Systems to explore and implement OneStream utilization opportunities for accounting purposes.

  4. Provide team leadership and mentoring to finance staff involved in the consolidation and corporate accounting process.

  5. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal policies.

  6. Manage multi-currency transactions and financial reporting, leveraging experience with multiple currencies and ERP systems.

  7. Oversee multi-national consolidation processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

  8. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to rapid growth and evolving business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

  • CPA preferred but not mandatory.

  • 5+ years of experience in consolidation and corporate accounting within the manufacturing industry.

  • Strong experience with multiple currencies and multiple ERP systems.

  • Experience with OneStream or similar financial consolidation software.

  • Proven experience in multi-national consolidation processes.

  • Team leadership and mentoring skills.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Location and Schedule: This position is based in Deerfield, IL, with a hybrid work schedule of two days per week onsite. The remaining days can be worked remotely, providing flexibility and work-life balance.
