Our client, a Plastics Manufacturer, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their rapidly growing team in Chicago, IL! We are looking for someone with Industrial Manufacturing experience, and strong Maintenance skills!

As our Maintenance Supervisor, you'll be the conductor of this high-performance orchestra. You'll lead a skilled team, ensuring our equipment runs like a dream. Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance are your middle names, but you'll also be a champion for safety, quality, and peak production efficiency.

Here's a sneak peek at your daily symphony:

  • Wield the Baton: You'll oversee work orders, assigning tasks to your team and ensuring flawless execution of equipment modifications, preventative maintenance, and any repair needs that arise.

  • Get Your Hands Dirty (Sometimes): You won't just be a leader – you're a hands-on troubleshooter, ready to dive in and solve equipment mysteries.

  • Safety First, Always: Safety is the foundation of our success. You'll enforce plant rules, conduct inspections, and train your team to keep everyone safe and sound.

  • Data Detective: Numbers whisper secrets to you. You'll generate maintenance logs, analyze OEE metrics, and identify areas for improvement.

  • The Lean Maestro: You'll be a champion of Lean Manufacturing practices, using Six Sigma, 5S, and other tools to optimize our processes.

  • Building a Dream Team: You'll foster a positive, productive environment, motivating your team to achieve peak performance.

  • The Knowledge Wellspring: You'll ensure your team has the training and skills they need to excel.

To join our high-energy orchestra, you'll need to bring your A-game:

  • An Associate's Degree or technical school certification

  • Electrical troubleshooting and repair expertise

  • At least one year of leading/supervising in a manufacturing environment (experience in a Lean environment is a plus!)

  • Exceptional communication – written and verbal – to keep everyone in the loop

  • The ability to multi-task and prioritize like a champ in a fast-paced environment

  • Microsoft Office fluency (SAP knowledge is a bonus!)
