As a Market and Product Expansion Manager in Commercial Banking Solutions, you are an integral part of the team whose work supports the successful release and adoption of products. As a core contributor of the team, you align the needs of clients in the market, as well as the price and position of our products.

Job responsibilities

  • Conducts comprehensive pricing analysis to evaluate market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and client behavior

  • Performs market research to understand the local needs and requirements for product improvements

  • Develops and maintains a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively tailor collateral to specific markets

  • Communicates regulatory guidelines to Product Managers to ensure our products meet risk and compliance requirements and are delivered on time

  • Advises on the available standards, methods, tools, and applications relevant to the regulatory environment to ensure our products meet all necessary risk and compliance checks

  • Leverage cross line of business partnerships to drive product, platform, and pricing strategy for Commercial Banking clients - ensuring access to various asset classes as a complement to on-balance sheet deposit products

  • Lead strategy to package a robust set of investment solutions for investing excess reserve and strategic cash ( e.g. Money Market Funds, Separately Managed Accounts, Treasuries, Commercial Paper, Fixed Income, etc.)

  • Partner with Product and Digital teams on the development/rollout of a market-leading investment portal that is integrated across banking channels & businesses (Brokerage, Securities, Treasury Services, etc.)

  • Develop and manage joint client strategy with Asset Management and Wealth Management (Advisors) - including engagement/referral model, revenue share, reporting, etc.

  • Proactive collaboration across Commercial Banking segments to ensure strategic alignment & business enablement. Deepen relationships with cross line of business & functional partners to deliver full value of JPM to Commercial Banking client franchise.

  • Ensure regular dialogue and engagement between key stakeholders of cross-LOB partners and GLS senior leaders; key partners include JPMAM teams (Global Liquidity, Retirement, Institutional), JPMorgan Advisors, JPMorgan Private Bank and CIB Escrow.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in Product, Technology, or Project Management

  • Strong understanding of risk management and controls, regional and local nuances, and governance requirements

  • Proven ability to comprehend and interpret market regulatory requirements to confirm and secure required market approvals and operational requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Experience in financial services such as treasury sales, relationship management, liquidity product and/or investment management

  • Knowledge of investments products (-Money Market Funds, Separately Managed Accounts, Brokerage products), industry and market trends

  • Proven ability to simultaneously manage multiple, complex projects

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills - specifically, the ability to present findings in concise verbal and written presentations

  • Proven ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively execute initiatives

  • Strong business, financial and analytical acumen
