Cancer IQ Human Resources Generalist in Chicago, Illinois

Position

Cancer IQ is looking for an HR Generalist to join our rapidly growing team. If you have a passion for HR, are familiar with labor law and look to kickstart your career in the field, this is the place to be. As an HR Generalist will be involved in all aspects of the company such as managing employee trainings, employee benefits and leaves and expanding our HR policies. In addition, you will be the main point of contact for employees for employee relations, culture and policy topics. The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the company.

Responsibilities

  • Administer compensation and benefit plans

  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes

  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives

  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise

  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies

  • Implement and manage the employee engagement survey

  • Manage the OKR process and system

  • Create and manage SOP's (standard operating procedures)

  • Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews

  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form

  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities

  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication skills written and verbal

  • Bachelors degree

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in human resources

  • Experience working in an ATS and HRIS systems

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
