Insight Global FILLED - Remote SAS Data Analyst in Chicago, Illinois

Job Description

This Data Analyst will be working in the US Deposits, Strategy and Analytics group of this global bank. They will make sure that their automated SAS jobs on production servers run and complete. Communicating with the product managers when they have questions, or on the rare occasion if there is server downtime, will kick off jobs manually to compensate for the server that was down. They will also help wit the build out of their Power BI dashboard, they currently have a data framework being generated and they have the equations being built in an excel beta version and looking to transition that into Power BI. As they begin to build out the Power BI dashboard, there will be additional requests to provide additional views as well.

Skills and Requirements

- 2+ years as a data analyst

- Maximum 7 years out of college

- SAS EG: basic knowledge of SAS (not a creator of a script, but modifying SAS scripts, read SAS scripts, open and run scripts).

- Ability to query a SAS dataset

- Ability to work in a complex, unstructured environment who can offer documentation and process

- Power BI knowledge, dashboard creation, jump into data set and create views

- Someone who is resourceful and creative, great problem solving skills

- Ability to give project examples of dashboards they have build (who was the audience, how many versions did they manage, etc.) - Financial services/banking industry

- Local to Chicago or Bay area

- Startup environment null
