Work Schedule: 8 Hr (8:00:00 AM - 5:00:00 PM)

Summary:

The Enterprise Risk Analyst develops and deploys high value business processes and technology solutions with the aim to identify, track, and mitigate risk across RUSH. With guidance from the System Director of Risk and Technology, the Enterprise Risk Analyst partners with leaders across the organization to deliver initiatives housed within the ERM and TRIPSS programs. The Enterprise Risk Analyst will identify and analyze risks within current RUSH processes and systems to inform initiative priorities. As initiative plans are defined, the Enterprise Risk Analyst will oversee the various aspects of implementation and define a structure to monitor ongoing risk exposure. These risk initiatives are complex and require strong communication and task management skills. Following implementation, the Enterprise Risk Analyst will provide support and continue to explore opportunities to further optimize our risk strategies. The Enterprise Risk Analyst exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Required Job Qualifications:

Education and Experience

• BS/BA degree in health care, STEM, business, or related field

• Minimum of 3-5 years of business experience

• Experience working in a hospital / other health care organization.

• Experience leading organizational or process change.

• Understanding of and exposure to enterprise risk management best practices, preferred

• Experience working in health care regulatory and compliance, preferred.

• Experience working in multiple industries and business areas preferred.

Functional Skills

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

• Advanced organizational, analytical, critical thinking and writing skills.

• Advanced oral presentation skills

• Command of common office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Outlook)

• Understanding of operational risk and governance

• Ability to work across all risk categories and business lines.

• Proven ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity, and rapid change.

• Participate in and facilitate risk identification and assessment sessions across various parts of the organization.

• Apply enterprise risk methodologies to analyze and measure existing risks.

• Establish and monitor value generating performance, risk, and control indicators.

• Participates in the development and advancement of data analysis tools and practices.

• Inform and execute the ERM and TRIPSS roadmap to reach risk maturity milestones across RUSH.

• Define, establish, and manage ongoing risk remediation initiatives.

• Purpose change management and user readiness skills to gain and maintain business sponsorship.

• Partner with RUSH IS to deliver technology and data enabled solutions.

• Maintain and update the ERM and TRIPSS platforms, and other applications.

• Lead cross-functional stakeholder teams to complete risk remediation objectives.

• Prepare and present deliverables to cultivate a risk mindset and to illustrate risk management progress.

• Handles multiple assignments simultaneously, while proactively communicating on status and barriers.
