Job Summary:

We are looking for a DTC (Direct-to-consumer) Warehouse Associate to handle the administrative, packing, and shipping functions for our direct-to-consumer business. You will be responsible for sorting, packaging, and labeling of items and preparing them to be shipped.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist in daily warehouse operations including vendor receiving, computer system operation, tagging, picking, staging and inventory of all products.

  • Organize and secure stored materials such as boxes, pallets etc.

  • Load and unload product with forklift onto pallets, platforms, skids, trucks or lifting devices.

  • Weighing products or materials and recording weight and further production information on labels and tags manually or using RF scanners.

  • Manually placing labels on cases in an accurate manner for shipping compliance.

  • Wrapping material loads with a wrapper and creating shipping labels for packaging.

  • Assemble boxes and prepare items for shipment.

  • Monitor and maintain documentation related to customer orders ensuring accuracy.

  • Examines loads to verify quantity, type of material, food safety compliance, and compliance with facility and customer requirements.

  • Maintain documentation of shipping information and enter data into computer system.

  • Maintain clean work environment.

  • Keys pick quantities into computerized scanning equipment to update inventory.

  • Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.

  • Follows HACCP and SQF requirements for food quality and safety.

  • Additional duties that support the operations of NorthPoint Fresh.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Ability to perform basic math functions.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to speak effectively and professionally before groups of customers, team members of organization, and drivers.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.

  • Frequently required to stand, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

  • Occasionally required to walk and reach with hands and arms.

  • Must occasionally lift up to 5 pounds. If lifting over 5 pounds, another team member will assist.
