Work Schedule: 8 Hr (9:00:00 AM - 5:00:00 PM)

Summary:

Leads the team to ensure optimal performance in accuracy, timeliness, and productivity for all activity related to the RUSH’s item files, electronic data submissions, supply data integrity, product revenue coding directives, vendor database, and perpetual inventory data requirements. Supports strategic vision and continually seeks to improve processes and tools. Partners with internal supply chain leaders to develop staff, assign departmental resources to projects based on the enterprise initiatives, departmental needs, and individual needs. Partners with all Supply Chain teams, IT, Accounts Payable, and Revenue Cycle to maximize efficiency and value.

This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of technology: automation, Ai, and any other innovative initiatives related to the supply chain, from the development and implementation of initiatives to the analysis of data and results. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain technologies, be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders, and have a solid understanding of the RUSH’s supply chain.

This role will play a crucial role in supporting the reporting of the supply chain savings, financial KPIs, and contracting financial models.

Required Job Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Hospital Administration, or a related field.

  2. Five or more years of experience in Supply Chain, preferred experience in ERP, automations, P2P, and/or finance.

  3. Stellar negotiation skills required to pursue cost savings discussions with vendors as well as convince internal stakeholder of optimal decision for HCO.

  4. Strong analytical skills demonstrating ability to share cost benefit analysis, scenario-based savings options, incorporating industry benchmarking, among other decision points will be required.

  5. Critical thinking skills required to interpret both qualitative and quantitative impacts of potential purchase activity are required.

  6. Experience with project management processes with demonstrated ability to initiate and complete projects.

  7. Rigorous problem-solving skills using logical methods of problem solving to achieve optimal solutions for complex team members.

  8. Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills and ability to learn new software programs are required.

  9. Must be able to work Independent and be self-motivated

  10. Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal, organizational facilitation skills required to engage a complex group of stakeholders to collaborate on optimal decision for HCO.

  11. Highly specialized in digital supply chain technologies

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  1. Master’s degree preferred. Preferred fields of study include business, supply chain, or health care-related specialty.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency.

  2. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.

  3. Manage all aspects of technology related to the supply chain.

  4. Provide detailed financial analysis and insights for the supply chain team, including variance analysis, cost tracking, and forecasting.

  5. Support the development of the annual budget and periodic financial reviews.

  6. Present financial information and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.

  7. Monitor industry trends and stay abreast of developments in the supply chain field.

  8. Provide training and guidance to team members to ensure successful implementation of supply chain technologies.
