Insight Global Digital Service Production Assistant in Chicago, Illinois

Job Description

The Digital Services Production Assistant serves as the digital image and print production expert within the office and is responsible for providing staff with a wide variety of digital document processing services including duplicating, scanning and printing. Under direct supervision, the Assistant performs tasks involving the use of document scanners, printing equipment and media duplicators. The Assistant will have strong knowledge of scanning and imaging practices as well as experience in a networked production copy/print environment. Good typing skills are required as are strong overall computer skills including a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat. Familiarity with Canon multi-functional devices is preferred.

The duties and tasks required in this position are completed using established processes and internal resources. The ability to solve practical problems encountered during the production process is essential. In addition to the technical skills and experience required, the Assistant must have good communication skills and be extremely responsive, customer service oriented, committed to quality and deadline driven. Also required is a strong attention to detail, organizational skills, a high degree of concentration, patience, professionalism and the ability to multi-task, all within a fast-paced, evolving work environment. A motivated self-starter with the demonstrated ability to work independently along with the ability to collaborate on projects and participate in a team-oriented environment is an ideal candidate for this position.

Skills and Requirements

Associates degree or post-High school technical training preferred; High school diploma required

Minimum of three (3) years experience in a production document processing environment

Minimum of one (1) year direct customer service experience

Computer literacy including technical familiarity with printing, imaging, Microsoft applications and Adobe Acrobat

Ability to operate large centralized reprographic equipment Previous law firm copying/scanning/printing experience or knowledge of legal document processing needs recommended null
