*Multiple Shifts Available*

Diesel Truck Mechanic Duties include:

Performing mechanical repairs of medium and heavy-duty diesel trucks

Perform all levels of Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs

Road test Vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure they are properly working

Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment using testing equipment such as laptop computers, motor analyzers, temperature and pressure gauges

Identify warranty repairs and document properly on the repair order

Keep work area clean and safe

Other duties as assigned

Diesel Truck Mechanic Requirements:

High school degree or equivalent, (preferably trade school as well)

Valid Driver\'s License with CDL preferred or the ability to obtain one

Must pass DOT physical and drug screen, as well as background test

Minimum of 2 years experience servicing and maintaining diesel engines

Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair medium to heavy-duty vehicles

Must have a complete set of hand tools and be proficient in all areas of truck repair

Must be detail oriented and able to work in a team environment

Ability to work intelligently with common sense, keep work environments clean and comply with all safety regulations

Must be available to attend additional training when needed
