Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the heart of Chicago, Illinois. This role is integral to our operations, encompassing a broad range of financial responsibilities from preparing financial statements to ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will be instrumental in leading day-to-day accounting activities, establishing internal controls, conducting financial analysis, and serving as a key liaison with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Lead day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and payroll processing.

• Implement efficient and effective accounting procedures and controls to safeguard company assets.

• Establish and maintain strong internal controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.

• Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies and objectives.

• Serve as a key liaison with external stakeholders, including auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory agencies.

• Communicate financial performance, trends, and insights to internal and external stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

• Utilize skills in CPA, Public Accounting, Healthcare Industry, Microsoft Excel to effectively perform job functions and contribute to the team. Requirements • Must hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential.

• Prior experience in Public Accounting is necessary.

• Experience within the HealthCare Industry is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• Ability to oversee all financial operations within the organization.

• Strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation.

• Proven ability to develop effective financial strategies.

• Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing a team.

• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask.

• High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required.

• Proven experience in financial reporting, taxation, auditing, corporate finance, and all other aspects of accounting.
