Skender Group LLC seeks an Assistant Project Manager in Chicago, IL. Responsible for maintaining and distributing project documents, progress schedules, and commitment to SkenderLean. Apply Lean principles for planning phase schedules, lookahead schedules, and the key concepts of the last planner system. Examine contract documents for submittal requirements, checking for scope gaps and overlaps. Review shop drawings for compliance with contract documents, accuracy, and coordination of interfacing materials. Prepare, maintain, and distribute various document control entities, including submittals, RFIs, drawings/specifications, meeting minutes, punch-list/closeout, and issue logs. Requirements: Masters degree or equivalent degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field and two years of experience in a commercial construction environment using Lean best practices.
