The Area Leader of Growth is responsible for the delivery and implementation of effective training systems at new restaurant openings (NRO) for multiple training teams. The role is responsible for all planning and communication with cross-functional teams ensuring complete readiness for NRO training.

The physical work environment includes working in a fast-paced kitchen and interacting with and serving customers. This requires extended periods of physical exertion such as walking, standing and lifting. It also includes working both inside and outside in varied temperatures, with and around food products and common allergens, industrial equipment, commercial cleaning products, and requires use of personal protective equipment and ergonomic activities necessary to complete the job function.

Your Impact and Responsibilities:

  • Leads multiple NRO training teams and ensures restaurants are equipped for long-term success

  • Assembles and leads training teams through the NRO training readiness processes including all planning and communication

  • Leads training, coaches and supports operationally throughout each NRO ensuring all standards are met

  • Conducts needs assessments and identifies training needs for restaurants including succession planning

  • Facilitates roll outs and deployment of new systems and processes

  • Supports staffing, scheduling, training and performance management

  • Assists with identification of NRO training talent and facilitates crewmember and manager focus group sessions

  • Audits all facets of operations and delivers feedback to support strategy development and execution with financial, people and operations management

  • Executes shift management meeting Raising Cane’s operations and safety standards

  • Performs restaurant performance standards observation walks and uses tools to document results and take corrective action when needed

Requirements for Success:

  • Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing

  • Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively

  • Able to recognize problems, set goals, create plans and convert plans into action to solve problems

  • Proficient in a variety of technology systems including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly

  • Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends and travel as needed for work-related functions and training

  • 5+ years of restaurant or retail management experience

  • New restaurant opening and training experience required

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred

  • Able to travel up to 80% and required to live within assigned area

  • Possess a valid driver's license
