Rush University System for Health (RUSH), a national leader in outstanding patient care, education, research, community partnerships and empowering a new generation of health care providers, invites applications for the position of Primary Care Advanced Practice Provider at our new North & Harlem Outpatient Center in Chicago opening July 2025 .

The Advanced Practice Provider (Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with General Pediatrics experience) will function as a member of the health care team to provide high quality, comprehensive acute and/or routine medical/surgical care of RUSH patients within the scope of practice granted in accordance with our medical staff bylaws. Qualified candidates will meet all other state and federal regulatory practice and accreditation standards. The successful candidate will promote collaboration between multiple disciplines to ensure cost effective and quality patient care. They will also exemplify the Rush mission, vision and values and act in accordance with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of the Rush Medical Group.

The brand new 60,000-square-foot RUSH outpatient center at North & Harlem Avenues in Chicago, set to open in early 2025, is part of RUSH’s commitment to delivering the best care available, close to home at locations across the Chicago area. Rush North & Harlem will significantly expand access to RUSH primary and specialty care for northwest Chicago and suburban patients in near west communities like Oak Park, River Forest and Elmwood Park, by offering some of the most sought-after healthcare services — including nationally ranked specialties like neurology and cardiology. The new center is another example of how RUSH is working to deliver the best care and outcomes across the Chicago area and Northwest Indiana.
