Selector The Selectors and Re-Selectors are responsible for maintaining line production.

Responsibilities:

  • Discard or reject defect products from production line.

  • Recycle all defect products back into production.

  • Maintain light station, discarding visible defects in 20 minutes increments.

  • Maintain production line movement.

  • Maintain clean rails and surrounding work areas.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.

  • Must be able to understand, read, speak and write in English.

  • Demonstrate ability to correctly detect and classify defects in glassware.

  • Ability to work rotating shifts: 24-7-365.

  • Ability to follow departmental and plant S.O.P.'s.

  • Maintain general housekeeping and 5S.

Additional Information

  • Pay: $22.70 w/ .50 shift diff for 2 nd and 3 rd shift hours

  • PTO: 48 hours (earned as they work)

  • Shift/Hours: Shift/Hours: Swing Shift (5 days 7a-3p & 2 days off, 5 days 3p-11p & 2 days off, 5 days 11p-7a & 1.5 days off, repeat from beginning)

  • Skills: previous manufacturing a plus. Would consider warehouse experience too if needed This is very entry level and looking for a team player who will stick around. NO JOB HOPPING - must be able to show they have stayed at most previous positions at least a year (more is better).
