Job Summary:

As a Tool and Die Maker, you will play a crucial role in producing precision metal parts and components to

exact specifications. You'll utilize machine tools, to bring drawings to life. Your responsibilities will include

reviewing blueprints, following production processes, setting up and operating machinery, and ensuring the

quality of finished work pieces.

Key Responsibilities: Review and understand blueprints and specifications, with a focus on extruded die components. Follow production processes, including selecting tools and materials. Set up and operate various machinery such as mills, lathes, hones, and grinders. Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed. Instruct and support trainees. Verify the conformance of finished work pieces to specifications. Collaborate with colleagues to resolve machining or assembly problems.

Experience and Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tool and Die Maker. Ability to handle basic issues independently and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff. Working knowledge of subject matter. CMM exposure/knowledge is a plus.

Competencies and Skills: Ability to interpret work instructions. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail. Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
